When to use each
SEPA Instant helps whenever timing matters: supplier payments with immediate delivery, out-of-hours settlements, refunds or urgent payroll. Regular transfers remain fine for scheduled payments with no urgency.
What if the payee's bank does not participate?
If the receiving bank is not in the scheme, the instant payment is rejected or, depending on your bank, sent as a regular transfer. Check the bank before paying with the SEPA Instant checker.
